Big Boy!

Monday I had my 2 year check up.
I'm 36inches (90th%)
I'm 31pounds (90th%)
My head circumference is still in the 95th%

After I saw Dr Jim I went to Jenna's for lunch!


And after nap it was off to Brady's
I showed off my blog to him...
and my friend Fletcher was there too...

Sick Day

My mom and I have both been feeling a little under the weather.

She decided to take a half day of work and spend some time with me.
We went to Polliwog and fed the ducks.

I thought about going down the big slide while we were there...
but once I got ALL the way to the top, I changed my mind!
After lunch we went swimming!
I met up with my friend Grace at the pool!
Wish I could stay home with my mommy or daddy everyday.
This adjusting to daycare is taking its toll (on both mommy and me!)

Its my birthday...and I will cry if I want to!

I am two years old today.
I'm definitely not a baby and certainly a toddler.
My mommy threw me a monkey party at MeMa and BePa's house today.
All my friends came and had lots of fun.

I wasn't so sure about all the people in my space at first...
but I warmed up to it by the end of the day!

even though I got some great gifts!

Despite my apprehension about the party, I had a great birthday!
I couldn't ask for better friends and family.

busy boy

I've been a very busy boy.
My mommy and I are preparing for me turning 2 this weekend.
We stopped at Gramkat's today, she wasn't home and I was very confused by being there and not seeing her and not being able to go inside.

I did get to pet kitty.

My mom and I dropped off my new slide for the party this weekend!

We then ran errands, I was rewarded with a carousel ride. It was pretty fun for a tiny ride!

At naptime I was so upset about not being able to watch Barney that I climbed out of the crib for the first time!!! Guess its almost time for a big boy bed!

Back to School tomorrow! I miss my MeMa (and Bepa!)

Big Week

My dad got a new job and a new car this week.


And I started school today.
Ok, its actually daycare...but I call it "cool".

I wasn't sure what to think about it at first, and mom left while I was playing with my new friends.
I cried for a bit t but Miss Abby told mom I did really good for naptime and afternoon!
I'm growing up so fast!

Charlotte Diamond Concert

Brady and his mom came up with us to the PV Botanical Gardens Sunday.

We met Jenna and her family there.



There were drums to play with...

and music to dance to...too bad it was SO HOT out!

Afterwards we all went to Jenna's and did some swimming and cooling off!


What a fun summer I've had!
